ABOUT YOUR NEW DEBIT MASTERCARD

 

Liberty Bay has issued new Debit MasterCards to all of its cardholders. Our Member Services Telephone Support Line will be available from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm on Monday, February 5 - Wednesday, February 7 to answer any questions. Additionally, below are a series of Frequenty Asked Questions to assist you throughout your card activation process.

 

When will I receive my new Debit MasterCard?
You should receive your new and improved Liberty Bay Debit MasterCard by Saturday, January 27. If you do not receive your new card by that date, please contact us at 617-439-6500 or membersvcs@lbcu.org. Your old card has been deactivated, and can be destroyed and discarded.   

 

What's different about my new Debit MasterCard?
Your new card will be chip-enabled, and will have a new design that reflects our updated branding. Most importantly, over the coming months we will introduce Liberty Bay's Debit MasterCard Rewards program where you can earn cash, points and rewards just for using your Debit card. 

 

Will my card number change?
Your card number remains the same, but your card expiration date and CVV code are new.

 

Will my PIN change?
When you activate your card, you will be prompted to set a new PIN. You can enter your existing PIN, or set a new PIN. It's up to you!

 

When should I activate my new Debit MasterCard?

We recommend you activate your new LBCU Debit MasterCard immediately. Your old card has been deactivated.

 

How do I activate my new Debit MasterCard?
Simply call the number located on the sticker on the front of your new Debit card. 

 

When can I begin using my new Debit MasterCard?

Your new DebitMasterCard can be used immediately.

 

For how long can I continue to use my existing Debit MasterCard?

Your old/existing card has been deactivated and can no longer be used.
